Assembly of breathing apparatus products.
This position performs a variety of secondary duties as assigned.
Assemblers may be required to work in any assembly position, based on production and staffing needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Main responsibility is the assembly of the breathing apparatus product.
Variety of assembly duties which could include hose assembly, filling, soldering, testing, closing and building breathing apparatus units.
Consistent hand placement of parts as described in approved procedures, diagrams, and product samples.
Responsible for assembly processes at multiple stations throughout the department.
Cross-training will be required.
Must work as a member of a team for efficient production of high quality products.
Use of miscellaneous hand tools as required including small screwdrivers, hand drivers, retaining ring tooling, torque wrenches, soldering irons, box cutters, scissors, and other tools as necessary.
Use of specialized machinery, as required, including can seamers, closing stations, and test stations.
Work as a team member for efficient production of high quality products.
SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or equivalent.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Basic computer knowledge.
May need to report production quantities, hours worked, etc.
on a computer program.
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
Must be able to use hands for fine manipulation and repetitive activities required for assembly.
Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours.
Typically 75% standing.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
